Another 3 in 1 Shot: Follow

This shot is great because it really doesn't take long to set up. It's quick and easy to hit. The 1 ball and 2 ball are frozen along the mid line of the side pocket. I always make sure the edge of the 2 ball is even with the long rail. Put the 3 ball in the corner pocket. The cue ball just goes somewhere between the side pockets... put it where you can make a good closed bridge with your hand on the table.

You only need a med-hard hit for this shot. Hit the cue ball just a bit to the right of center on the 1 ball. Make sure you use top right on the cue ball. Which means, bring your bridge a little closer to the cue ball - remember, this prevents the dip in the cue and allows for true force follow. If you get enough top, the cue ball will actually arc like in the above diagram. If you get too much top, the cue ball will arc wildly to the long rail, and even as a miss, most people watching will be like.. "WOW!" So like I said, it's a quick shot, and I hope you enjoy it!!!
