March 8th Birthday Party

I was hired to do trick shots at a birthday party this last Saturday at Diamond 8. The party was for an 11 year old and I thought they might be interested for no longer than an hour. Boy was I wrong!! Not only did these kids just eat up the trick shots, but they knew the names of several shots and the names of some artistic pool players! What a great time it was! They all got to shoot the railroad shot and I showed them precisely how to set it up correctly. One of the kids just couldn't wait to show his grandfather that he knew how to set it up! Apparently they were trying to figure it out for a while, but they were only using 2 cues instead of 3!

I started this show with a shot that has 11 balls up on coin wrappers. By the end of the show, I was giving them all two coin wrappers (one full size, the other ripped down to size) so they could practice cw shots at their homes. I've seen the look on many adult faces of amazement and wonder, but nothing compares to these kids' looks of joy quickly followed by an "Can you teach us that?" Anthony, thank you so much for allowing me to enjoy your birthday as much as you!!
